Alison Silva is a self-taught artist, born in Queens, New York in 1975. Her work illuminates whimsical landscapes, mystical creatures and sensitive self- portraits mingling in mysterious realms. Silva’s paintings have been exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Australia. She has designed the cover art for Labyrinth by East Bay Ray (Dead Kennedys) in 2009, Echoes of Edensong By Edensong in 2010, a painting for Dante Tomaselli’s “Torture Chamber” film, and artwork for Max and the Siamese Twins by Max Stout ( illustrated by 55 visionary artists). The fantastic and peculiar worlds depicted in Lewis Carroll’s classic novel, “Alice Through the Looking Glass” has been a most enduring influence. Alison’s story has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX news.
